CITO – GeoCoinFest Europe 2024

GeoCoinfest te invita a unirte a nosotros en una experiencia que aúna el amor por la naturaleza, el descubrimiento de sorprendentes rincones y la protección y cuidado de nuestro entorno haciendo eso que tanto nos gusta, GEOCACHING.

 ¿EN QUÉ VA A CONSISTIR EL EVENTO?

Vamos a poner en práctica una de las actividades que a los geocachers más nos apasionan: disfrutar del medio ambiente y contribuir en la medida de nuestras posibilidades a limpiar y preservar nuestro entorno mediante un evento C.I.T.O.

Estas siglas son el acrónimo ingles de la expresión Caché In, Trash Out (en castellano sería algo así como “fuera la basura, adentro los cachés”) y que en términos generales consiste en reunirnos en un paraje o lugar que necesite ser limpiado de basura y tratar de devolverlo al estado en que siempre debiera estar. Eso incluye también la posibilidad de realizar en algunos casos replantaciones de vegetación y árboles que hayan sufrido deterioro o estrago.

En nuestro caso, nos reuniremos en las coordenadas fijadas, que corresponden al monte Benacantil, a las 9:00 horas. Desde este punto, nos desplazaremos a través de las zonas de alrededor procediendo a la recogida de residuos e intentando dejar la zona lo más limpia posible. La organización suministrará las bolsas y los guantes necesarios para la recogida de los residuos. Los residuos recogidos serán posteriormente retirados por los Servicios Municipales.

Hemos planeado una serie de actividades divertidas y educativas especialmente diseñadas para los niños, adecuadas a sus edades. Estas actividades no solo les permitirán aprender sobre la importancia de cuidar nuestro entorno natural, sino que también les darán la oportunidad de participar activamente en este CITO. Queremos asegurarnos de que todos, sin importar su edad, disfruten y contribuyan a este evento tan importante.

Recomendamos acudir con ropa adecuada y suficiente para una actividad al aire libre teniendo en cuenta la época del año y calzado cómodo y apto para el terreno donde se desarrollará la actividad. ¡Te esperamos!

GeoCoinfest et convida a unir-te a nosaltres en una experiència que conjumina l’amor per la naturalesa, el descobriment de sorprenents racons i la protecció i cura del nostre entorn fent això que tant ens agrada, GEOCACHING.

 EN QUÈ CONSISTIRÀ L’ESDEVENIMENT?

Posarem en pràctica una de les activitats que als *geocachers més ens apassionen: gaudir del medi ambient i contribuir en la mesura de les nostres possibilitats a netejar i preservar el nostre entorn mitjançant un esdeveniment C.I.T.O.

Estes sigles són l’acrònim engonals de l’expressió Caixet In, Trash Out (en castellà seria alguna cosa així com “fora el fem, endins els caixets”) i que en termes generals consistix a reunir-nos en un paratge o lloc que necessite ser netejat de fem i tractar de retornar-ho a l’estat en què sempre haguera d’estar. Això inclou també la possibilitat de realitzar en alguns casos replantacions de vegetació i arbres que hagen patit deterioració o estrall.

En el nostre cas, ens reunirem en les coordenades fixades, que corresponen al mont Benacantil, a les 9.00 hores. Des d’este punt, ens desplaçarem a través de les zones d’al voltant procedint a la recollida de residus i intentant deixar la zona el més neta possible. L’organització subministrarà les bosses i els guants necessaris per a la recollida dels residus. Els residus arreplegats seran posteriorment retirats pels Servicis Municipals.

Hem planejat una sèrie d’activitats divertides i educatives especialment dissenyades per als xiquets, adequades a les seues edats. Estes activitats no sols els permetran aprendre sobre la importància de cuidar el nostre entorn natural, sinó que també els donaran l’oportunitat de participar activament en este CITE. Volem assegurar-nos que tots, sense importar la seua edat, gaudisquen i contribuïsquen a este esdeveniment tan important.

Recomanem acudir amb roba adequada i suficient per a una activitat a l’aire lliure tenint en compte l’època de l’any i calçat còmode i apte per al terreny on es desenvoluparà l’activitat. T’esperem!

GeoCoinfest invites you to join us in an experience that combines the love of nature, the discovery of surprising places and the protection and care of our environment doing what we love so much, GEOCACHING.

 WHAT WILL THE EVENT CONSIST OF?

We are going to put into practice one of the activities that we geocachers are most passionate about: enjoying the environment and contributing as much as we can to clean and preserve our environment through a C.I.T.O. event.

C.I.T.O. stands for Caché In, Trash Out, which in general terms consists of getting together at a site or place that needs to be cleared of rubbish and trying to return it to the state it should always be in. This also includes the possibility in some cases of replanting vegetation and trees that have suffered deterioration or damage.

In our case, we will meet at the coordinates set, which correspond to the Benacantil mountain, at 9:00 am. From this point, we will move through the surrounding areas collecting waste and trying to leave the area as clean as possible. The organisation will provide the necessary bags and gloves to collect the waste. The waste collected will later be removed by the Municipal Services.

We have planned a series of fun and educational activities specially designed for children, suitable for their ages. These activities will not only allow them to learn about the importance of caring for our natural environment, but will also give them the opportunity to actively participate in this CITO. We want to make sure that everyone, regardless of their age, enjoys and contributes to this important event.

We recommend you to come with suitable and sufficient clothing for an outdoor activity taking into account the time of the year and comfortable footwear suitable for the terrain where the activity will take place. We are waiting for you!
